See ! I thought so !

Must be true if it's on Internet  !
has written a great article!
"As soon as I walk into a craft shop or my sewing room my mood improves - the colours, textures and endless inspiration take me straight to my happy place. Running my hands along the fabric bolts gives me a sense of peace and calm, and my worries take a back seat as I'm filled with fresh, new ideas and perspective. "

Kinderdijk !

A frosty start to the day! Sunny blue skies!
A day to discover Kinderdijk!
I've been living in The Netherlands for almost 20 years!
It's time to go check out Kinderdijk!
Let's go for a walk and enjoy the views!
A bit of creative photography as we look towards the sun!

Change of direction and there's a new view!
 Lot's of Windmills!
 Polder landscape !
The Dutch are cleaver with dealing with water !
Caught these two in flight !
 Beautiful January day!

 Built in 1630 !

Kinderdijk! A great place to visit in the Winter!
After a great walk it was time for hot chocolate!
 Outside, in the sun !

Never underestimate the power of a color
you might be tempted to reject! Try it.
It just might bring your embroidery
to life in an unexpected way.
Just like she explains....
So a #10 crewel needle is significantly smaller than a #1 crewel needle. If you’re used to stitching with a #10 crewel needle and you switch to a #1 in order to accommodate a very heavy thread, it will feel like you’re stitching with a railroad spike.
