The hostas are still in their winter sleep!

But soon things will be looking greener!

I did it!

 Today was great fun! A quilt workshop and trunk show!  Ingrid of Supergoof Quilts(click) gave her "Ramen Lappen" Cathedral Window workshop in Eemnes at Quilt Studio Het Gooi (click)  

 A morning snowfall didn't keep anyone away!

One participant even drove up from Belgium! 

Isn't it Gorgeous!

We were taught,step by step, with key words and phrases!

Great instructions! I followed along! Ingrid helped!

Lunch was delish! Home made soup and buns with fresh egg salad!

The second part of the program was Goof's Show and Tell

quilts made from one pattern...sewn by hand!

Here you see her with her Thimble quilt 

and on the table is het klosjes quilt!

 Yes, that's 6552 thimbles in this quilt!

This celebration quilt is decorated

with lace, antique buttons, yo-yos and stars!

I think I'll be working on this one more often!

 Turned into a morning TASF!

Starting with this cute Strawberry bag(click)!

 a tea towel and a few bits all from the stash!

 The tea towel is too thick for this project! 

But how often does one really stuff it back in?!

 Just had to pick this up for an euro!

 It's one of these!

It's great to trace around!

add a bit of heat and bond and fabric!

I'll add a few decorative stitches

and we're on our way to a new quilt!
