The Egyptian geese are busy !
Did you know....
This species will nest in a large variety of situations, especially in holes in mature trees in parkland. The female builds the nest from reeds, leaves and grass, and both parents take turns incubating eggs. Egyptian geese usually pair for life.
Egyptian geese are at home in trees, regularly perching and even roosting there. Tree nests are well known
We'll have to see what they will do !

A treasured Christmas card will be an inspiration for applique !
a new pincushion !

A super way to warm up for a new stitchery !
While  there is an extreme cold warning for Southern Manitoba...
Extreme wind chills of minus 40 will moderate this morning.
A warm front will pass through the province Christmas eve which 
will bringabove normal temperatures for Christmas day.
An Extreme Cold Warning is issued when the temperature or wind chill
 is expected to reach levels ranging from minus 30°C to minus 55°C 
for at least two hours depending on your location.
