It's that time of the year! Just thought I'd bring your attention to the Tick! You can Google a lot of information about Ticks! A Tick bite is something to take seriously. For something so small, it's the one thing that I'm most scared of. It's not really the tick its self, but the bacteria they can carry that can cause Lyme disease. I had a two week antibiotic cure last year when I figured out what I had were Lyme disease symptoms.
I didn't take a picture of it this morning when it was stuck in my leg, moving its arms and legs about. Don't know if you want to see that! Most of the Tick was removed, but a visit to the doctor to remove the last bit was also needed. Now they have a preventative 1 time antibiotic cure. Dissolve two tablets in water and drink up! Note the date and location of the tick bite in your calender, then wait and see if you see a red ring. I don't want to scare you. Ticks are all part of nature. Just check! Then you can enjoy a great Summer! That's what we'll be doing together here at Teatime Gardening!

What a sky!
And this storm, shall too, will pass!
Good thing I'm riding behind it!
No rainbows.
But well a bit of much needed rain!
Rise and grind Sunshine!

These teapots were wind chimes that I found at the Action! I brought them home to see what I can do with them! For starters, the wind chimes were soon removed! The best part about them? They come complete with an up hang system and I can attach something else where the wind chimes once were! Might have to see if I can get some more! So many creative possibilities! Time for coffee in the garden! Maybe not! Time to look for a rainbow!

I live in the garden, I just sleep in the house!
A photo shoot with Hosta leaf!
This one broke off while at work!
Couldn't throw it away!
After all that tea are you up for a tour of the garden?
I think it's time I took that step with you!
A bird's eye view! Designed it myself! Yes, I did!
You see just a bit of the back door at the bottom of the photo.
The patio is 6 x 3 meters, looks great when it's raining!
Then we look to the left a bit....
Then the middle!
Then to the right.
Yes, there is still room for a few more Hostas!
Time for one more drink before you go?
Out and about again!
One of my favorite classic Hostas!
Hosta 'Siboldiana Elegans'
Hosta 'Siboldiana Elegans'
I've known him for quite a few years!
This is his best year yet!
Look at the leaves! No holes!
Lavender! If you could hear the bees! If you could smell the scented air when you're weeding! Hope you can enjoy time in a garden! Excuse me while I go remove a few splinters!

Stachys byzantia
What? Say that again! LOL! Hello! Good evening! Great to see that you can join me here in the garden! How was your day? I thought I'd give this plant a go as ground cover! 2 are Stachys byzantina 'Cotton Boll' and 1 is 'Silver carpet' .
Here, in The Netherlands, the Dutch name is Ezelsoor.
That would be translated to Donkey's-ear in English!
The English name for this is Lamb's-ears!
Stachys byzantia, Lamb, Donkey, doesn't matter!

something wonderful and unexpected"!

A great start to Summer!
There is a corner especially for scented Hostas!
I left with Hosta 'Bridal Falls' and a new pot!
Then it was over to The Hessenhof!
A wonderful perennial plant Nursery!
Here's one plant that's caught up in the Eu rules overload!
But what a gorgeous plant it is!
Lots of bees!
And great ideas! You'll have to visit!
It was a great day out with The Dutch Hosta Society!
Want to see more click here !
Here's my "Homework" from yesterday! LOL!
A few plants will fill this space!
And in the front garden, do you see it?
Yes, Hosta 'Olympic Glacier' will have to be relocated!
To the back yard! There's a bit of room there!
So a bit of gardening to do today!
Surprise! Thanks! Thanks LeeAnna! Love the slug!
She has a great blog ! Check out Not Afraid of Color !
Join me for tea before we do a bit of gardening?!

The zen of Weedin' on a Friday afternoon!
"Ah, Art! Ah, Life! The pendulum swinging back and forth,
from complex to simple, again to complex.
From romantic to realistic, back to romantic." Ray Bradbury

at the same time." Thomas Merton
You could change the word "Art" for "Weeding" !
Gardening if you want to be romantic!
Have a great weekend!

Hello! Hope you're enjoying your day!
Have you ever had the hick-cups that wake you up in the middle of the night? Walked in the garden on a Summers evening with no shoes on, but well with socks on, and stepped on a slug? Believed the weather forecast? Hey, it's almost the weekend! A great Hosta weekend! See you in the garden!

Here and there!
Hello! Just thought I'd share a few photo's
while I was out and about today!
These Geraniums made it through the winter!
That's how mild we had it!
Take a look at this Poppy!
Will definitely have to collect seeds here!
Wow!
What colorful Lilies!
Blues and purple tints
The type of ground affects the Hortensia's colour!
A fun surprise in this garden!
Smile!
Another Poppy! More seeds to collect!
There are other guests in the garden!
Time for tea in the garden! Join me?
