Hello! How creative is this! If you visit Buitenzorg you might be able to find these birds on a branch! Thanks Miriam!

"I live in the garden! I just sleep in the house!"

 A lovely summers day yesterday! Warm and full of sunshine! After work, it was the perfect evening for a cycle ride over to Buitenzorg to enjoy a walk in the woods to see what's growing!

 Not only the plants are growing!

These will be checking out soon!

 The 10 oak trees that were planted back in March during the "NL Doet" weekend are showing signs of life!

 The Sweet Chestnut tree looks great!

 The Hostas are looking good too!

 If you're in or around Hilversum this Saturday, the 1st of June, and would like to learn more about plants for  shady areas, then you should visit the "Strong in the Shade" plant fair! The Dutch Hosta Society will be there!
Should be a fun day out with different plants and presentations! Van der Lindenlaan 125 1217 PJ Hilversum! See you there!

 Good Morning! The Chelsea Flower show is over for another year! It was their 100th year! Well done! Lots of ideas! A very high standard! Looking forward to next year, just like every year!

Poffertjes!

 A visit to The Netherlands woudn't be complete without eating traditional Poffertjes! There is a great place in the centre of Laren!

 I wonder how much butter they use per year?!

It won't melt today, that's for sure!

 And this was a quiet start to the day!

 Full of energy? One more garden to visit!

 Canton's Park in Baarn!

 It's still empty?! No tables, chairs, coffe or tea?

 No lunches, Brownies, Scones or fresh baking?

No art, decor, music or anything?

 There isn't even a start on the terrace! 

It's such a nice building is a lovely park!

 Good morning! We had the coldest 23rd of May on record! Plus, it dropped to 3C last night! 5C at the moment! But that doesn't matter! There is a lot to see out there, in the garden! The last few days we visited a few of my favourite places! One such stop was Vaarder Hoogt garden centre in Soest! This is a great new plant!

 Then we visited Buitenzorg, between the rain showers, to see what changes have taken place since the last time Mom was here! Quite a few I think! And the grass by the fruit circle has been mown! A few trees still with blossom! Apples and pears this year! Just waiting for sunshine and bees!

 This "terrace" extension looks great! 

 Someone's real creative!

 The front garden has been filling in nicely!

 Rain will make T. Rex grow! It is its third year!

 All 6 new Rhododendrons are flowering!
