Just to let you know how things are progressing in Soest!

Went to pick up a few groceries.

 Spent the morning moving things about in the garden!

Trying new things! New ideas. hmmm?

 Coffee with apple pie! Lekker! What a treat in the garden!

 Hosta Earth Angel! "Doesn't do well in containers"they say!

Well, this one is growing in an old oak wine barrel!

 Flowers are look good!

 Can't say if they smell or not!

 Then on such a warm summers evening,
28C, we went to Amersfoort!

 Notice the "hanging baskets/not quite window boxes" ?

 On the corner is our destination! 

 Just up the street from the "port" at the Langestraat!

 Started with a Sweet Potato Amuse!

 Then Brucheta with Eegplant, carrots, leeks, fresh herbs !

 Followed by Garlic Soup and Roasted Garlic Toast!

 Main of Streusel filled with Spinach, Potato and Goats Cheese!

Desset was real Cheesecake! What a great vegetarian meal!

Now this is a place where the cooks really know their stuff!!

If you're ever in town, look them up!

 Colour in the garden!

 Violets are still looking good with all the rain we've had!
