Handwork and Quilts!

To the Handwork and Quilt Days in Nieuwegein!

Just the place to wander around !

 See creative works in fabric!

 Hand bags!

 Need more display space?

 Any car will do!

This is the back of one quilt!

I saw this on Internet last year as a Block of the month project!

 Great modern fabric art!

 This is a great idea!

I see it's almost time to go!

We left with this creative idea to work out!

Just need 150 gr cans and squares of fabric!

1 m of this winter bird fabric is all I bought!

What a fun day out! Thanks!

Friendsgiving!

A day spent with friends at The Gazebo!

 The sharing of tradition!

The Dutch "Sint en Piet" came for a visit!

Happy Thanksgiving, friends in America!

More about The Gazebo

A Project for a Winters day!

One of these! Found it on "marktplaats"!

 It's a Singer F9609495

Came complete with drawers full of stuff!

 After sorting out the

"what to keep and what to through away"'

There was quite a bit of great stuff!

 Lots of things to read!

 Must be here somewhere!

Can be used on all sewing machines!

 Even found the "missing" key!

Amazing what they crafted to do....whatever this does!

Bring on the winter storms!
Now to work on my coordination on a treadle sewing machine!
...and then the cord snapped!

It's Friday already!

It's getting colder here this weekend!

Might even be cold enough for hot chocolate!

Wishing you can enjoy a wintery moment as well!

Thanks to blogland!

On the way to work....

 I spotted these mini pallets!

Just think of all the creative possibilities!

Too bad, they're behind the security fence!

Thinking of you....

The perfect thought after all that has happened
in the world this weekend.

Such a different world than what I experience here,

But only a three hour high speed train ride away.

Wishing you all a safe journey where ever you may go.

First, gather the ingredients.....

 Sunshine through galss!

Just need to look around for the rest!

Then I can try making something like this piece of inspiration!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

These Hostas are ready for the winter, Are you?

Here's a bit of Hosta Inspiration for those winter days!

Yesterday was 18C!

That's a new record for November 8th!

And today was an enjoyable 15C!

Great weather to enjoy a walk through Coversbos!

The Blue Heron seemed to enjoy it too!

Holly! Lots of it for the Birds this winter!

 Beech trees and more!

Aha fence! A great way to use the landscape!

But the fence that you see is to keep the people out!

We'll have to visit Gooilust in May

when the Rhododendrons are flowering!

Autumn is like Tea!

Lots of  leaves and bags!

Good morning!

Coffee and a garden! And more leaves!

Wishing you a great Autumn day!

Upcycling!

Old and New !

It's a great start for the new TV show about upcycling! The 10 contestants have started! They have to meet the challenges using garbage! "Afval bestaat niet" Garbage doesn't exist and upcycling is the motto! There's a great work space that they get to use after finding their material at recycling centers! It's  on NPO 3 Monday evenings at 20.30 .

Hello November!

October! You sure did pass by quickly!

November! Wonder what you will bring?

Let's start the month off with a Quilt Doodle Design!

And a gorgeous day for a walk!

 Swans!

 Don't get too close!

Time to go!

Which came first, the licence plate or the dog?
