Next years dates are already posted! So, if you're cleaning out your handwork stash, donate to a great cause! See you there next year!

 Some Hostas are looking great!
 While some are not!
And this Hosta looks good too!
This might be the proof that some Hostas just taste better!
 Such a nice Fall afternoon!
Was the tree always at such an angle?

And I thought I was only going to write about why I bought these and the Great British Bake Off on BBC 2 Tuesday nights! That's getting intense! Only 5 contestants remain! Next week, Tuesday, 9 pm!
You never know how a day will progress!
Remember this photo? Iceland Pfaff store!
Well, I had a bit of time today and thought I'd check out Marktplaats! Look what was placed on Marktplaats yesterday! And came home with me today! You can always check out more of Linda's French Vintage Brocant stuff on Marktplaats!
 Look at the workings!
I think I'll use the wood for a sewing table!
 Needs a bit of TLC!
And a glass cover, upsidedown vase thing!
found this:
And this! I don't have quite that many!
Started DITG Block 8 !

What a start to Autumn! Wind! Rain! Sun! Cold. Warm. Winter duvet? Or Summer Duvet? Extra Fleece? Rainjacket! What to wear? Luckily I can stuff my bike bags full! Dark skies and rainbows! Ended up being a Summers afternoon! Great to potter about in a garden! How time passes all to quickly! The wind died down! Great evening to sit around a campfire with friends! Summer memories will have to do!

Today The Dutch Hosta Society committee members got together! We sure did get a lot accomplished! The contents for the upcoming issue of the Hosta magazine were organised and dates and activities were set for 2013! It's going to be a fun year! The Hosta Study Day in March, the Summer Garden and Growers tour in June and are you interested in a 3 day garden tour in September? That's all in the planning! Woohoo!
A garden magazine unlike no other!
 Garden ideas for big gardens....
...and well written, up to date, articles!

A few days away in Iceland. It's a 3 hour flight away. But, with lots of time sitting around the airport, in the plane and in the Hotel I thought I'd take DITG Block 5 along!
We joined the Golden Circle Tour for the first full day in Iceland. First stop, a Tomato grower! The growing season in Iceland is only 2 and a half months. That's it! 2.5 months! With the use of their own geothermal energy and Icelands supply of fresh water, Tomatoes are growing and tasting great!
Visited Gullfoss, the queen of Icelandic waterfalls!
Iceland. Lots of land! with just a few more people than 300,000 on the size of an island two and a half that of The Netherlands, there is a lot of open space!
 Stopped by Geysir geothermal field.
 And the Tourist shop!
Sewing machines, wall of wood, tractor and canned air!
Walked with our Tour Guide through
Pingvellir National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site
 End of day two
Day three, South Shore Tour in the rain!
Myrdalsokull Glacier and Reynisdrangar rock formations
A great highlight of the day for me, Skogar Folk Museum!
Too bad it was only for a quick tour. Lots to see!
www.nat.is/sofn/eyjafjoll_skogar_folks.htm
There is a great story about the lady and all the painted plates!
Skogafoss Waterfall then back to Reykjavik.
After a great Mexican meal I "window shopped" at Pfaff's!
Take a look at their great window display! Great!
 End of day three
Beginning of day four. Changed my mind on this colour!
No guided tour today, so checked out Reykjavik.
 No Hostas! Not one!
 Found a grocery store!
Iceland doesn't seem to be a Peanutbutter eating nation!
Their Peanutbutter comes from the AH, Albert Hein!
Day 5, time to catch the 4:40 am bus to the airport!
Home. Day 5

September and Hosta Sparticus is flowering!
Just saw the new Mc Flurry Rolo ad on TV! Coincidence!
 Block 7 DITG!
Rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun etc weather today!
I'm curious to se how DITG is coming along!
 Looking good!
Lots of Butterflies, Hortensia's and flowers still to be made!
